Sometimes all a room needs is a bit of a refresh. A new rug, new art, new decor and of course, the perfect styling. Can I get an Amen up in here (if you haven't watched RuPaul's Drag Race, then I suggest you get to it immediately, you can thank me later!). And that's what we did with this dining room, we added some life into the space with beautiful plants in the window area, then overhauled the shelves transforming them into art. When you're styling shelves, it's all about balance, varying scales, textures, finishes and LOTS of layering. Quick tip: lean art or dishes on a few shelves to help break up the shelf a bit.
